Before going live: replace the bracketed placeholders below with your registered business name, address, and contact email. Have someone review this once — these are drafts, not legal advice.
This policy explains what we collect and why, for DevLicense, operated by [YOUR REGISTERED NAME / ENTITY], India.
What we collect
- Contact details you give us: name, email address, and phone number (optional).
- Payment information: processed by Razorpay. We receive confirmation and basic transaction details. We never see or store your card, UPI, or banking credentials.
- Programme activity: your work items, code submissions, pull requests, review comments, written documents, and AI prompt transcripts created inside the platform.
- Basic technical data: log data needed to operate and secure the service.
Why we use it
- To enroll you, communicate with you, and deliver the programme.
- To review and score your work, and to generate your credential and proof page.
- To improve the programme's content and review quality.
What is public
Your proof page is public by design — it exists so recruiters can inspect your work. It shows your merged work, corrections, and written investigations. It does not show your phone number, email, payment details, or AI transcripts.
Sharing
We share data only with service providers who help us operate: payment processing (Razorpay), code hosting (GitHub), AI model providers, email delivery, and hosting. We do not sell your personal data.
Retention
We keep programme records for as long as your credential remains valid and verifiable. You may request deletion of your personal contact data; note that deleting the record backing a public credential may invalidate it.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by writing to us via the contact page.
