Terms — the deal, stated plainly
Terms & conditions
Last updated — July 23, 2026 · DevLicense, Bengaluru, India
These terms govern your use of devlicense.com. By creating an account or making a purchase you agree to them. We have kept them in plain language on purpose.
What DevLicense is
DevLicense is a training program: you work on a production-grade codebase (HouseFull), ship pull requests with AI in the loop, and get reviewed and assessed. It is not employment, an internship, work experience, a placement service, or a job guarantee. Your teammates in the program are AI and are labeled as AI; the Captain is a human senior engineer.
Your account
You sign in with one-time email codes. Keep access to your email account secure — it is your key. One account per person; your reviews, defenses, and License must reflect your own work.
Payments
The Trail is free. Paid tiers (Core ₹12,999, Pro ₹24,999) are one-time purchases, GST-inclusive, processed by Razorpay via UPI, card, or EMI. Prices may change for future purchases; a price change never affects a License you already bought.
Refund policy
Full refund within 14 days of purchase, no questions asked. Email hello@devlicense.com from your registered address; refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–7 working days of confirmation. After 14 days, your seat converts into work you either did or did not do — the profile tells that story honestly, and no refund applies.
Your code, our codebase
- Your work is yours. The code you write in your program repo stays in your GitHub account, and you may show it to anyone.
- The HouseFull codebase, tickets, and review system are ours. They are licensed to you for doing the program — not for republishing, reselling, or redistributing as your own product or as answer keys for others.
Fair use
Don’t attack or overload the platform, scrape other students’ data, share answer keys, or impersonate others. Using AI to do the work is expected and encouraged — that is the skill being trained — but the defenses exist precisely so that work you cannot explain does not pass. Serious or repeated abuse can end your access; if that ever happens inside your first 14 days, the refund policy above still applies.
The License
The DevLicense credential is evidence, not accreditation. It links to the reviewed work behind it and makes no claim of university affiliation, government recognition, or hiring outcomes. Reviews are AI-assisted by design and can err — that is why milestone results carry a live, human-answerable defense, and why you can raise any verdict with us.
Liability
The program is provided as-is. To the extent Indian law allows, our total liability for any claim is capped at the amount you paid us. We are not liable for indirect losses (lost opportunities, lost data on your own machines, third-party outages).
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India; courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka have jurisdiction.
